Vidya refuses ÂSatte Pe Satta remake

Oww, there goes our luck to watch the charming actress re-enacting the popular nurse character played by Hema Malini .. While the news had been in town about Vidya Balan being considered to play the female lead in Soham ShahÂs ÂSatte Pe Satta remake, of late sources revealed that the actress has refused to do the movie.
It is said that Vidya didnÂt want to do it since she felt the very good old essence of the classic film canÂt be regenerated. Said sources, ÂShe feels that Satte Pe Satta should not be tampered with. That film is too iconic to be copied or revised. Hmmm, thatÂs a point, we say. But for now the remakeÂs team has a problem in finding an actress.
ÂSatte Pe Satta remake features Sanjay Dutt, the lead part which was played by Amitabh Bachchan in original.
